Ophelia is named after the tragic heroine from Shakespeare’s Hamlet; a woman of grace, sensitivity, and deep feeling. Though her story ends in sorrow, we honor Ophelia for her tenderness in a world that demanded hardness. She reminds us that emotion is not weakness and that beauty, empathy, and vulnerability are their own quiet forms of strength.
